Challenge Cup
After four years of sponsorship, Rileys withdrew their sponsorship of this event, which has proved very popular with the lower divisions. The Committee are pleased to advise, however, that for a second year, the competition will carry on despite the lack of a current sponsor. If any club is interested in sponsoring the Challenge Cup, they should contact the League Secretary for further details.
The Challenge Cup is open to every team in Divisions 4 through to 7, who have been knocked out in either the 2nd round of the Knock-out Cup, or the 1st round of the Alternative Cup. Additionally, any team knocked out in the 3rd round of the Knock-out Cup, or the 2nd round of the Alternative Cup, who through no fault of their own had received 'bye's in the early rounds of the main cups, will also be eligible to play.
