In November 2007, the Coventry City Pool League finally caught up with technology, and dipped it's toes into the world wide web. Hopefully you'll all find this site refreshing and informative, and all comments, positive and negative, will be welcomed by e-mail or through our online forum.
The City Pool League was established over 30 years ago, and I believe we're still one of the larger leagues in the country, currently boasting 100 teams, and over 1000 registered players, from across the city and surrounding area. In it's current format, eight divisions of twelve play on a Monday night, under the old EPA rules, whilst the one division of ten on a Wednesday night plays under Blackball rules.
The new seasons for 2008/9 started on Monday 9th June, and Wednesday 11th June. Both run right through to May 2009. Presentation night for the 2007/8 season is just a week away, on Friday 20th June, and will be at our regular hosts, The Bishopsgate Club.
